It's friday

and i am bored as hell. i have finished all my work and i can't seem to find anything to occupy my time until 5pm. my lunch break was eventful because i had to navigate atlanta traffic in heavy rain and that is not an easy task. now i am back in the office, reclining and blogging. some people may say "what's wrong with that?" well for me this is my most productive time of day so if I am not doing any work it bothers me. well, that's my peace.

i am afraid of bad storms, don't judge! i think it is their unpredictable nature and power. the fact that our home was struck by lighting and burned to the ground doesn't help either. hell, that is the main reason. what kills me is how the meteorologists get so hype over the storms. there is no other news on right now, just doppler maps with pretty colors, bummer. oh well, what can i do? well, i won't tell ya'll what i really do but you're smart, you can figure it out ;)

so i have had a few conversations with some friends over the past few days and it seems that some of them have parted ways with their lovers because of less than stellar Valentine pony shows i.e. their guy didn't spend enough, how dreadful. now don't get me wrong, i don't hate valentine's day, its cool. i just feel that it is completely overrated + i am more concerned about what is done on the other 364 days.

so back to the situation at hand: i mean seriously, you're telling me that you have just cut him off because he didn't buy you enough stuff? I would understand if ya'll have been together for a while and he didn't show any appreciation. but, ya'll only been seeing each other for like 3-4 months. besides, its a recession! well at least that's the reason people are using for most things these days ;) me personally, i don't celebrate any of those lil "holidays" until i've been with a man for a minute, i takes my time. gift giving for me is personal and should be memorable. if i am gonna give, i need to know (1) you appreciate me first (2) what your likes and dislikes are (3) what really makes you smile and brings you joy. it's not about the monetary value, the sentiment lasts so much longer. nothing is better than giving someone a gift that they truly like, love, enjoy. they will never forget who gave it to em.

so today was a productive day. i wasn't certain because i got off to a late start, but then again i was up until 4 am, so that's my fault. so anyway, at work i have been assigned a new project to coordinate/plan, yay! it may seem strange, but i get very excited about making events come to life and i am pretty good at it if i do say so myself. the last event i coordinated for this group was awesome, they were so impressed that they even sent me a gift to say "job well done." so i am ready to get started, i love working with a budget because it allows me to be extremely creative and efficient.

on another note, i made some connections for my business. this collaboration will be awesome. there is a young black entrepreneurs network(Y-BEN) networking function on Thursday that i have invited some potential clients to. this atmosphere will be a great for making new connections and promoting the creative process. visit blakmanpromotions for more information about Y-BEN and how they are connecting young professionals.

well Ghostface titled a song after this product. i liked the track. but my interaction with Camay isn't so lyrical because my right eye is f'd up off of it. i don't know what i was on while showering but i got a ton of soap in my eye. i have never felt pain like this. here it is 2 hours later and its still burning, WTH? oh and the drive in to work, a miracle. once the sun hit it, it was a wrap. my eye was watering ridiculously, and wanted to stay closed. can't navigate I-75 traffic with closed eyes, but i did!

well if ur here then chances are that you know me. personally. so with that, it is known that i have large breasts. not a large chest like a damn dude, but large breasts like a woman. it is important for me to support them because am not sloppy. so to do this i must buy bras of quality = money. so i shop here. got measured and she tells me that i am a 38GG. i'm just sayin. i was with my homegirl tonite, having drinks, catching up and shit. you know how that go. anyway so at the end of our run we settle the bill. i provide my portion and initially i tell the waitress that she can keep the change. she brings all our money back to the table, so then i say "oh you cool, i didn't need change". so then she like"oh its cool, don't worry bout it" as if to imply, "i don't need your funky ass $2" ain't it a recession? so i politely put my exact change in my wallet and tipped right on outta there. anyway, that's my peace.

... yep, i did it. i erased 50 "friends" from FB. it was good to see that they are alive and well, HOWEVER i have very little interest in all the other ish that comes along with being "friends" . i'm not one for unnecessary chatter, unless i am drunk lol!! anyway so i am 50 conversations lighter, hmmmm...i wonder if the page will still jump without them. doesn't matter, ha!

good news of the day

YES, i have good news on a monday! so i was approached about a promotion. i'm interested, but i know that with a new position and new money comes more work., ugh! i guess its the trade off, we will see. i am not afraid of work so i will do the thang. may as well put my skills to work, can't stand to waste shit lol!

aight so...

...today was monday, so ya'll know how that go. anyway so i am o-v-a FB. people on there talk about too much private stuff, in public, WTH? for real, they need a life. i don't know why i care so much lol. so i will be deleting quite a few folks and tune in to those i really wanna hear from.
